I am an active person that is always on the lookout for new projects to put my knowledge into practice. Aside from studying I am busy designing a greenhouse within an old prison building in Amsterdam with a team of 13 students from all over the world. During my studies I have travelled a lot to explore different perspectives on the world and how to preserve it.
Why I participate:
I joined this challenge to gain more knowledge on sustainable entrepreneurship in emerging economies; how to set up a network, how to find your customer and convincing people to join the 'sustainable revolution' and doing business in a different way.
I joined the NBC to explore more opportunities for urban solutions for waste management, food security and circularity of water and energy. The network and company visits will help me to expand my social network and find opportunities in these working fields. Leading 13 students with this greenhouse project has encouraged my passion for project management and I would like to expand my knowledge within this field through the engagement with companies from the New Business Challenge. The NBC is also another way to challenge me to work in an interdisciplinary and multi-cultural team.
